Tripp knew the sounds of the farm by heart. Coyotes in the distance. Frogs after rain. Wind through the trees.

But the howling that started outside his bedroom window one night was different.

When Chief, the family dog, begins acting strangely, Tripp and his older brother Landon find themselves pulled toward something hidden deep in the woods beyond Shady Creek Road.
